TITLE AI-Driven Travel Planner with Real Time Data-Integration
ABSTRACT Modern advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have significantly reshaped digital tourism ecosystems by providing intelligent, data-driven, and automated travel planning solutions. Traditional trip planning requires extensive manual research, often resulting in time-consuming and fragmented decision-making. This paper presents an AI-Driven Travel Planner System that integrates secure OTP-based authentication, real-time weather forecasting, geolocation analysis, hotel discovery, and generative AI itinerary creation using OpenRouter APIs. The system uses external APIs such as OpenWeather, Geoapify, Google Maps to dynamically fetch environmental and location-based data. The backend is implemented using Django, ensuring seamless data processing, automated ticket generation, and multi-channel communication through email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the system significantly enhances personalization, reduces planning complexity, and improves efficiency. Results confirm the feasibility and scalability of integrating AI-driven itinerary planning with real-time tourism intelligence, making the system highly suitable for modern smart tourism platforms.
