| TITLE | Automation of Academic Result Processing Using a Database Management System |
|---|---|
| ABSTRACT | Educational institutions generate large and complex academic datasets from multiple departments, making manual result processing difficult and highly prone to errors. Ensuring accuracy, transparency, and timely access to results is essential for maintaining institutional credibility. This research proposes a comprehensive database-driven framework that automates student result management and academic record processing. The system applies structured data validation techniques and incorporates automated mark calculation, grade assignment, and result generation modules. The framework also stores historical academic data to identify performance trends across semesters. Visualization components generate reports and printable mark sheets that help administrators and students easily interpret results. The proposed methodology significantly improves the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of academic result handling, ultimately strengthening transparency, accountability, and trust within the educational evaluation process for modern higher education institutions worldwide. |
