| ABSTRACT | In emergency situations, timely access to patient medical information is essential for accurate and efficient treatment. Traditional paper-based records and unstructured digital storage systems often fail to provide immediate and secure access when needed most. This paper presents MediSupport, a dual-QR-based medical information system designed to deliver instant access to essential patient data for emergency responders and authenticated access to complete medical history for healthcare providers. The system employs a two-level QR mechanism—a public emergency QR containing critical health details and a secure deep-access QR protected by PIN authentication for viewing detailed records, including prescriptions, diagnostic reports, and doctor consultation history. MediSupport also enables exporting medical history in PDF and CSV formats, allowing offline portability and easy sharing with medical professionals. Additional features include AI-driven health recommendations, automated medication reminders, comprehensive activity logging, and patient-controlled data management. Developed using ReactJS, Node.js, and Firebase authentication, the solution ensures secure, real-time access to health information while maintaining patient privacy. Experimental evaluation demonstrates high usability, fast response, and significant improvement in emergency preparedness and personal health record management, establishing MediSupport as an effective and patient-centric healthcare support system. |
