TITLE Network Performance Testing and Optimization in LAN/WAN Environments
ABSTRACT Network performance has become a critical determinant of operational efficiency in modern enterprises. Corporate LAN and WAN infrastructures must sustain high levels of reliability, speed, and security to support data-intensive applications, cloud services, and distributed workforces. This paper reviews contemporary approaches to network performance testing and optimization, emphasizing the role of bandwidth monitoring, latency measurement, and throughput analysis. It examines methodologies used to diagnose performance degradation, evaluates tools and metrics for continuous monitoring, and highlights optimization strategies tailored to corporate environments. The review concludes that proactive performance management—supported by automation, analytics, and adaptive configuration—is essential for ensuring scalable and resilient network operations.
