| ABSTRACT | Product personalization is increasingly important in modern enterprise sales systems, especially in the wearable technology domain where customers expect customized products. Conventional sales and quotation processes rely heavily on manual configuration, which often leads to incorrect product combinations, inconsistent pricing, and increased processing time. This paper presents the design and implementation of an automated smartwatch customization and quotation system using Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote). The proposed system enables sales representatives to configure smartwatches by selecting attributes such as case size, band material, colour, engraving text, and charging options through a guided configuration interface. A rule-based configuration approach is implemented using Salesforce CPQ product rules to validate attribute dependencies and restrict incompatible selections in real time. This eliminates invalid configurations and ensures accurate pricing. The system follows a layered architecture consisting of presentation, application, and data layers to support scalability and maintainability. Salesforce CPQ features such as configuration attributes, product rules, pricing automation, and twin field synchronization are used to ensure data consistency from product configuration to quotation and final order generation. Functional and integration testing were conducted to evaluate system performance. Results show reduced manual effort, improved accuracy, faster quote generation, and enhanced user experience. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of Salesforce CPQ as a reliable solution for managing configurable products in real-world business environments. |
