TITLE Portable and Cost-Effective Web Application Penetration Testing Framework Using Python and Golang on Raspberry Pi
ABSTRACT This paper presents the design and execution of a portable, economical penetration testing platform designed for online applications. The suggested system, built on the Raspberry Pi platform, utilizes Python for scripting and automation and employs Go (Golang) for high-performance concurrent processing. The platform incorporates critical penetration testing modules such as SQL Injection (SQLi), Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), brute-force assaults, and steganography analysis, offering a thorough toolbox for vulnerability evaluation. The device also has Unified Threat Management (UTM) features to improve its network security functions. Experimental validation performed in controlled settings, including Damn Vulnerable Web Application (DVWA) and Metasploitable2, illustrates the framework’s efficacy in detecting and alleviating prevalent security issues. The system is intended to be scalable, cost-effective, and user-friendly, providing a pragmatic option for ethical hackers, cybersecurity instructors, and small businesses needing accessible penetration testing tools.
