TITLE Scrum-Based Academic Management: Enhancing Faculty Collaboration and Teaching Effectiveness
ABSTRACT Higher education institutions often face challenges in coordinating faculty activities, delivering courses on schedule, and monitoring student performance effectively. Traditional reporting methods, such as weekly or monthly updates, may not provide timely visibility into ongoing academic tasks. This paper presents a Scrum-based academic management approach designed to enhance faculty collaboration, teaching effectiveness, and administrative transparency. Daily stand-up meetings and sprint-inspired planning were implemented to monitor lecture schedules, syllabus coverage, assessments, co-curricular activities, and laboratory readiness. Faculty reported blockers and challenges, which were addressed collectively. The study demonstrates that Scrum practices improved communication, accountability, and proactive decision-making, ensuring timely completion of courses and supporting better student outcomes.
