| TITLE | SmartTrip: A Smart Tourism Booking and Virtual Reality Exploration System |

| ABSTRACT | Tourism has become one of the fastest-growing industries worldwide, and travelers increasingly expect convenient online booking services along with immersive destination experiences before making travel decisions. Traditional tourism websites generally provide only textual descriptions and static images, making it difficult for users to visualize destinations effectively. To address this limitation, this paper proposes SmartTrip, a Smart Tourism Booking and Virtual Reality Exploration System that combines online travel booking with an interactive Virtual Reality (VR) experience. The proposed system is developed using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and A-Frame technology for 360-degree virtual destination visualization. Users can register, browse travel packages, explore destinations through VR, and book tours online. Administrators can efficiently manage packages, customer bookings, VR content, and user information through a dedicated administration panel. The integration of Virtual Reality significantly enhances user engagement by providing realistic previews of tourist destinations before booking. Experimental evaluation indicates that the developed system offers improved usability, efficient booking management, enhanced customer satisfaction, and a modern digital tourism experience. SmartTrip demonstrates how web technologies integrated with immersive VR can transform traditional tourism management into an intelligent and interactive platform. |
