| ABSTRACT | Women’s safety remains a critical social concern, particularly in urban and semi-urban regions where incidents of harassment, stalking, assault, and unsafe travel conditions continue to pose significant challenges. This paper presents the Safe Women Safety App, a mobile-based women safety platform designed to provide real-time emergency assistance, location tracking, and data-driven safety analytics. The proposed system integrates instant SOS alert mechanisms, GPS-enabled live location sharing, incident reporting, and emergency communication features to ensure rapid response during critical situations. The application allows users to notify trusted contacts and authorities with a single action, reducing response time and improving accessibility to emergency support.In addition to emergency assistance, the system incorporates incident data collection and analytical capabilities to identify unsafe zones and recurring safety threats. By utilizing reported incidents and location-based information, the platform supports hotspot detection and safety awareness, enabling authorities and stakeholders to make informed decisions for preventive action. The solution is developed using Android technologies with Firebase services for authentication, real-time database management, and cloud-based data storage. Experimental evaluation demonstrates the effectiveness of the system in delivering real-time alerts, accurate location tracking, secure data management, and reliable emergency communication. The proposed platform contributes toward creating a safer environment for women by combining mobile technology, real-time communication, and safety analytics within a unified and user-friendly ecosystem. |
